This book is a result of interviews of German generals by US Army, conducted from 1946-1948. This was not an easy accomplishment as the interviewees were arrest at the time. Of greatest value here are insights gleaned on the structure of the German High Command, its functioning and sometimes odd relationships between the generals and the Nazi inner circle.
